Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • 1–2 years of HR assistant or administrative experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis
  • Familiarity with HR procedures, recruitment processes, and timekeeping systems
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to quality and customer service
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and support team collaboration
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Maintain office services by organizing operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions, and overseeing clerical functions
  • Ensure office efficiency through planning and implementing systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
  • Keep management informed by analyzing reports, summarizing data, and identifying trends using Excel
  • Maintain and process linen billing using the ABS system; generate and track billing reports in Excel
  • Process purchase orders using the SAGE system; reconcile and report expenditures in Excel
  • Input work orders for damaged or leased equipment in the appropriate system
  • Assist customers with concerns about shortages or missed deliveries
  • Manage office supply ordering and coordinate facility events
  • Record and update employee timekeeping data; maintain attendance records using Excel
  • Support recruiting efforts to ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Conduct new employee orientations and onboarding
  • Ensure Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance for all employees
  • Provide HR reports and analytics upon request using Excel
  • Translate and communicate company policies to employees
  • Assist managers in documenting disciplinary actions and terminations
  • Maintain and update the facility’s attendance database
  • Observe and adhere to all safety procedures and policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
