Requirements

Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license, and possess a strong understanding of acute care nursing principles. Previous experience in dialysis or renal care is preferred, along with knowledge of FMCNA compliance programs and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

The Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, apheresis, and ultrafiltration, administering treatments and monitoring patient responses. They will supervise Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff, deliver training to ICU staff, collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans, accurately document patient information, and ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment.
