Requirements

5+ years of experience in an accounts receivable role
Demonstrated experience with accounts receivable tasks and understanding of how a billing ecosystem is run
Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with clearing firms, customers, and sales traders
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Highly organized; able to track information closely and create clear workflows
Hard-working and persistent; able to stay on task and work collaboratively
Careful and attentive to detail
Clear communicator
Discreet and trustworthy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Workday (plus)
Experience in a reconciliations or accounting role (plus)
Familiarity with the trading firm billing ecosystem and bills/fees/commissions (plus)

Responsibilities

Tracking and recording invoices and outstanding amounts that are owed to the firm
Preparing month-end reconciliations
Contacting clearing firms and customers for payment details; escalating any overdue bills to our trading desks
Processing any day-to-day settlements, invoice adjustments, or customer refunds alongside our Operations team
Working with clients and clearing firms to resolve financial discrepancies
Ensuring that invoices and collections are accounted for in a timely manner
