Requirements

Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and have 1-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role. Certification in accounting or bookkeeping, such as CA, is an added advantage, and proficiency in accounting software like SAP or similar ERP systems is required.

Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Accountant will accurately process and validate invoices received from vendors across the Eastern Hemisphere, ensuring compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and regional standards. They will input invoice data into the AP system, maintain updated records, liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies, perform reconciliations of vendor accounts, and generate periodic reports for management. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies, and identifying opportunities to improve the invoice processing workflow while maintaining organized records and ensuring data confidentiality.
