Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in quota-carrying account management, and at least 3 years of selling a SaaS product. They should have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, along with exceptional relationship management skills, including experience managing and growing strategic accounts across IT, business, and C-suite. Furthermore, candidates need demonstrated expertise in strategic client engagement beyond renewals and order fulfillment, and must excel in understanding customer strategic direction and how Veeva supports it.

Responsibilities

As an Account Partner - R&D, the individual will utilize a value-based selling approach to sell the Veeva Vault Development Cloud across the enterprise, focusing on building trusted partnerships with customers. They will be responsible for identifying and growing sales opportunities within assigned accounts, managing multiple complex sales cycles, leveraging internal and external resources, and delivering analytics and benchmarking around account progress and value. The role also involves knowing and understanding the customer’s strategic direction and how Veeva supports it with software, data, and consulting, as well as travel to customer sites as needed.
