Candidates should possess a scientific, healthcare economics, or business economics degree or a comparable education with a medical, pharmaceutical, or commercial focus, along with relevant professional experience in a comparable role. Holding a Pharmareferent (IHK) certification or possessing expertise according to §75 AMGM is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales with large customers in the pharmaceutical and/or medical technology industry is required, alongside solid clinical competencies in surgical disciplines and knowledge of product benefits, specifications, marketing strategies, and clinical evidence for customer interactions.
The Account Manager will be responsible for conducting targeted and detailed analysis of customers and developing an interdepartmental strategy, as well as providing comprehensive support to defined key customers within the territory. They will build and maintain relationships with opinion leaders and decision-makers in individual surgical departments, purchasing, pharmacy, and, where necessary, clinic management. The Account Manager will also set up and conduct conceptual product testing for the introduction of new products, create detailed customer profiles and action plans for introducing Advanced Surgery products to target customers, document all relevant sales activities in the CRM system, coordinate closely with marketing, medical, supply chain, and other relevant departments to achieve sales goals, independently conduct customer training and customer events, organize scientific lectures and participate in symposia, conduct events for the training and further education of medical professionals, including opinion leaders, actively collaborate with the responsible management in the lead-up to tenders to facilitate the determination of tender and contractual opportunities, and regularly conduct continuous market observations on-site and create sales area revenue and market analyses.
