Candidates should be able to research, digest, analyze, and present material clearly to senior management. Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive work habits, and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment are necessary. Flexibility and adaptability to various tasks and willingness to work extra hours are also required. The ability to present to motor dealers of all sizes and types is important. Previous experience in motor finance or associated businesses within the motor industry, a good understanding of the digital marketplace in motor finance, and knowledge of the regulatory environment in the motor industry are advantageous but not essential.
The Account Manager will create and maintain relationships with introducing used car dealers. They will attend face-to-face appointments and conduct telephone/email negotiations to offer competitive finance terms to used car dealers. Key responsibilities include meeting individual targets, adhering to company policies, developing quality used car dealer relationships within their geographical area, and managing existing used car dealers to ensure they meet sales and efficiency targets. The role also involves offering excellent customer service, being an active team player, achieving business targets and personal objectives, and attending 121s and team meetings.
