Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Chemistry or similar science
  • Relevant experience working in production or oilfield chemicals
  • Experience supporting customer accounts and coordinating offshore activities, scheduling, and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with customers and teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, managing and resolving chemical production and scheduling issues
  • Self-starter, proactively taking initiative to solve problems
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Willingness to work offshore occasionally

Responsibilities

  • Provide onshore and offshore production chemistry support to a specific client and associated stakeholders
  • Provide technical and account support, including implementing chemical treatment programs to enhance and protect the production process
  • Function as an in-house account management service rep at customer site in Stavanger for their offshore production facility
  • Coordinate onshore chemical sampling, testing, and analysis completed offshore
  • Support technical projects and chemical trials
  • Support day-to-day production chemistry for client asset, interfacing with relevant client functions and departments
  • Coordinate work allocation and planning, HSE investigations, employee development and training, and performance feedback
  • Coordinate laboratory work scopes and provide technical assistance to support customer accounts
  • Manage chemical supply, stock projections, and relevant forecasting
