Proven track record in growing the intermediary distribution business in Singapore and South Asia (key markets: Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia)

Collegiate team player, experienced and comfortable working in an international operating environment
Understanding of the dynamics of the investment management industry focused around meeting client demands, at a relatively sophisticated level
Significant understanding of economics, capital markets, and investment concepts from 7-10 years’ experience in the financial services industry; experience in fixed income, alternatives, private credit, and real estate strongly preferred
Experienced business developer and servicer focused on meeting clients regularly and representing the firm at meetings and events
Language skills appropriate to the region
Bachelor’s degree
CFA or CAIA, or progress towards attaining the designation
Responsibilities
Work with the team to develop and execute a business development and relationship management strategy for the intermediary distribution business in Singapore and South Asia (key markets: Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia)
Build and maintain detailed knowledge of key business and strategic issues facing target channels
Acquire and service new and existing clients and mandates; take ownership of client relationships from front to back, ensuring operational, compliance, and legal requirements are met and business is conducted in line with practice
Market the full range of PIMCO’s products and services to the assigned investor base, with assistance from senior investment professionals where appropriate
Develop and implement a plan to identify prospects and raise assets across all PIMCO’s products
