Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry or related field
  • 2 years technical sales experience in meat, processed food, dairy, and poultry sector or the beverage and brewing sector
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout territory, including periodic overnight travel, could be required to be on-call during off-work hours and weekends when needed
  • Immigration sponsorship to work in the country is not available for this role
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to sell value-added products to customers
  • Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers
  • General mechanical ability
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer plant operations and business objectives, and applicable government regulations
  • Develop strategic work plans for completing sales targets and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment and services
  • Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training
  • Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory and place orders
  • Implement agreed upon corporate account commitments and proactively inform Corporate Account Manager (CAM’s) of results, challenges and initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks
  • Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements
