Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B business development, sales, or client-facing roles

  • Engineering background (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and social networking sessions across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario to represent the company and generate leads
  • Build connections, collect contacts, and follow up with calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to secure meetings
  • Conduct research on prospects and accounts before outreach to ensure highly personalized and relevant messaging
  • Constantly prospect through outbound activity: phone calls, tailored emails, and LinkedIn campaigns
  • Support senior BD team members with pre-call research, meeting preparation, and follow-up tasks
  • Maintain and manage all contacts, activities, and opportunities in the CRM, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Gather market and competitor intelligence from events and conversations, sharing insights with the BD team
  • Collaborate closely with a highly talented engineering team to understand our solutions and translate complex technical concepts into clear value for prospects
  • Track and report on key metrics, such as meetings booked, pipeline progress, and outreach activity
