Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the scientific, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
  • A Diploma or Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Life Science, Chemistry, or any Science and Engineering related field
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant sales/account management experience
  • Technical field/application experience in Laboratory and Analytical equipment and Project Management skills would be a plus
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met flawlessly
  • Identify new business opportunities and determine strategies to compete in the market
  • Manage client accounts strictly and ambitiously to meet sales targets
  • Gain a good understanding of the customer's technical requirements and service needs to better understand their workflow, offer the right solutions, and deliver incremental business
  • Collaborate with internal teams to successfully implement sales strategies
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that showcase our products and services
  • Work with the marketing team to develop outstanding value propositions and strong service sales branding
  • Use sales experience, tools, and market intelligence for successful and effective sales forecasting
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
  • Negotiate pricing with third-party vendors for customers
  • Be hands-on in technical/project set-up and execution to improve product knowledge and offer better service solutions
