Requirements

  • Sales experience (3+ years), preferably in biopharmaceuticals, life sciences, pharmaceuticals (including MR roles), medical devices, or foreign B2B industries
  • Interest in biotechnology or life sciences fields
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic level English proficiency (able to read/write emails and documents using translation tools)
  • Desirable Requirements
  • Ability to understand customers' work content, show interest, and develop strategies
  • Strong communication skills internally and externally, with ability to understand customer needs
  • Capability to plan systematic sales and customer conquest activities with speed and motivation
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for several days/weeks, with physical stamina and stress tolerance
  • Proficiency with IT tools such as Laptop PC, smartphone, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Manage key accounts (primarily pharmaceutical and bio-related companies from basic research to manufacturing) and sell Cytiva's purification devices, analysis devices, raw materials, and equipment for biopharmaceuticals like antibody drugs, vaccines, and cell therapies
  • Understand key accounts' executive-level needs and identify prospective customers for integrated services including contract manufacturing/analysis services and overall production equipment
  • Identify customer needs from their challenges, lead internal departments to propose Cytiva's full value, and maximize customer outcomes
  • Achieve annual sales targets by managing opportunities and activity reports using Salesforce, and conducting effective sales activities using call cards to realize customer outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with customers from executive to operational levels through account management approaches to ensure ongoing profitability with strategic implementation
  • Lead large projects such as equipment introductions, coordinate with customers and internal teams (domestic and overseas in Japan), and smoothly advance projects to achieve goals
