Job Description: Insurance Sales Advisor (Remote)
Position Overview
The Zebra is seeking motivated professionals to join our call center team. In this customer-facing, inbound sales role, you will assist customers actively shopping for insurance by understanding their needs and matching them with suitable policy options from our network of carriers. This is a high-impact position on the frontlines of helping customers make informed insurance choices, blending relationship building with performance goals.

- Requirement: All licensed employees must conduct business from their primary residence in Texas. New hires will need to relocate to Texas by their start date.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Schedules are provided quarterly based on a shift bid system.
- Working hours are within:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Salary & Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $19.00 per hour.
- Annual Earning Potential: First-year agents typically earn between $45,000 - $60,000. Senior agents can reach $85,000+ with base rates and an uncapped incentive structure.
Responsibilities
- Take inbound calls from shoppers actively looking for auto and home insurance.
- Build rapport, assess customer needs, and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
- Utilize internal tools and carrier quoting systems to provide accurate quotes.
- Guide customers through the insurance buying process from quote to purchase.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and compliance requirements.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as conversion rate and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- One year of high-volume call center experience.
- Motivated, positive, and solution-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- A desire to learn and grow; prior insurance experience is not required.
- Coachability and a team-oriented mindset.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using web-based tools and CRM systems.
Experience That Will Impress
- Possession of a Texas (General Lines) Property & Casualty license.
- Experience working within insurance sales.
Interview Process
- Recruiter Screen: If selected, you will complete a pre-qualification screening form to assess your experience.
- Team Interview: A 45-minute Zoom interview for an in-depth call center assessment.
- Final Interview: A 30-minute Zoom interview to discuss career growth and address any follow-up questions.
