Preferred qualifications include experience selling POS, payments, or fintech solutions to regulated industries, prior success in high-growth startups, and an existing network within cannabis markets.

Responsibilities

The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle for net-new and existing dispensary locations in Michigan, focusing on closing Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and door-count targets. Responsibilities include generating pipeline through targeted outbound efforts, regional events, and partner referrals, building and maintaining pipeline coverage in HubSpot, and leading discovery, demos, and negotiations for SMB opportunities. The AE will also structure and close bundled contracts, maintain CRM hygiene, submit weekly commit forecasts, and partner with Field Marketing, Product, and Customer Success on regional campaigns and strategies. Additionally, they will capture and present product feedback, compliance hurdles, and market trends to influence the product roadmap and contribute to refining sales playbooks and materials.
