Requirements

4+ years of direct experience in media buying, brand marketing, digital advertising, or ad sales in the Korean gaming industry
Blend of Gaming (80%) and Media and Entertainment (20% vertical experience), with deep gaming experience across PC AAA game companies and additional experience in mobile gaming
Great relationships with C-Level executives and decision makers within the industry
Native or business-level fluency in Korean and professional proficiency in English
Proven experience delivering against account and revenue goals, with deep understanding of Korean gaming clients' challenges and objectives
Strong understanding of Korean business culture, relationship-building practices (including jeong and relationships-first approach), and marketing/ad tech ecosystem
Willingness to travel within Korea and occasionally across APAC for client meetings

Responsibilities

Prospect, source, and close new marketing opportunities with Korean game publishers, studios, and their media agencies to hit revenue and account goals
Build and deepen strategic relationships with key decision-makers at Korean AAA / mobile game companies and agencies, navigating Korean business practices and decision-making processes
Create compelling sales presentations and proposals using internal and external data relevant to Korean gaming audiences
Become an expert in Discord solutions and adapt recommendations to suit varying client needs within the Korean market
Demonstrate expertise around gaming, media, and advertising to clients, within Discord, and in industry forums
