About Figure

Figure is maximizing the value of homeownership in ways that benefit consumers and the industry alike. We’re helping homeowners tap their liquidity easily, efficiently and reasonably for purpose-driven, significant expenditures – everything from dream home renovations and debt consolidation to small business formation.

In seven years, we’ve become the country’s #1 non-bank HELOC lender. As a financial technology firm operating at the intersection of regulation and transformation, we’re a “unicorn” – a group of fewer than 1000 companies globally that is valued at $1B or more and has been in operation for less than ten years.

Our mission requires us to have a creative, team-oriented, and supportive environment where everyone can do their absolute best. We are motivated, innovative, collaborative, and curious. We value individuals who bring a problem-solving mindset to every task. Every day at Figure is a journey in continuous learning combined with a focus on getting work done that makes a difference. Join us!

About the Role

As an Account Executive at Figure Lending, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming how contractors fund big-ticket home improvement projects. We’re looking for sharp, creative-minded individuals who thrive on uncovering opportunities others miss. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from identifying high-potential contractor partners to launching and scaling their success within our platform.

Responsibilities

You’ll be expected to:

  • Relentlessly pursue and qualify new contractor relationships, especially those with significant project volume and multi-trade capabilities
  • Present compelling, solutions-driven value propositions that resonate with contractor decision-makers
  • Seamlessly coordinate onboarding and training with our PDM’s to activate partners quickly and effectively
  • Maintain a healthy, transparent pipeline using proven outreach systems and CRM tools

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect & Qualify: Identify and research potential contractor partners, conduct discovery calls, and qualify opportunities based on business volume and strategic fit
  • Sales & Negotiation: Present partnership value propositions, negotiate terms, and close new contractor partnerships
  • Partner Launch: Coordinate onboarding processes, conduct training sessions, and ensure successful partner activation
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain consistent prospect pipeline using CRM systems and systematic outreach strategies
  • Sell in the Field: Promote Figure at tradeshows – and meet both prospective and existing partners onsite in the field

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field
  • 3-5 years B2B sales experience, preferably in financial services or construction industry
  • Regular travel is expected (i.e. tradeshows, partner onsite meetings)
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and strong prospecting skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience in partnership development or channel sales
  • Knowledge of construction industry and contractor operations
  • Familiarity with lending products and financial services

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and their dependents on select plans
  • Company HSA, FSA, Dependent Care, 401k, and commuter benefits
  • Employer-funded life and disability insurance coverage
  • 11 Observed Holidays & PTO plan
  • Up to 12 weeks paid family leave
  • Continuing education reimbursement
