Candidates should have relevant industry experience as a sales executive, management consultant, or IT/business transformation leader, preferably within a Global System Integrator, B2B Software, or SaaS company. Experience in globally managing GSI/MSP accounts is strongly preferred, along with a proven track record of leading new business growth or value, including transformational technology initiatives. Excellent engagement, influence, and communication skills with senior executives and decision-makers are essential, as is a solid understanding of GSI/MSP programs, incentives, and cadences. A BS/BA degree is preferred, with an advanced graduate degree or MBA being highly valued. The role requires the ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
The Strategic Alliances Channel Sales Representative will serve as a consultative joint business strategist and partnership leader, managing all aspects of joint go-to-market (GTM) activities with selected GSIs/MSPs, including business operations, field engagement, and executive alignment. Responsibilities include educating and engaging key leaders on Cohesity's capabilities, orchestrating cross-functional teams to drive partnership business planning, design and launch joint solutions/services, and support field readiness. The role involves supporting geo-based sales teams by developing GSI/MSP-specific business plans and opportunities, participating in partnership business planning, co-designing service development, and executing GTM planning to increase incremental revenue. Additionally, the representative will identify, recruit, and onboard new Service Provider partners, drive partner growth by nurturing relationships and accelerating revenue, and build/execute new GTM strategies with partners.
