BioRender is seeking a motivated Account Executive to drive growth and expansion of our science and research communication platform. This role focuses on managing the entire sales cycle for academic institutions specifically in the France region, collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and maximize revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of prior SaaS sales experience managing the full sales cycle.
  • Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
  • Education/Background: A degree in life sciences or prior experience in this field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering) OR experience selling highly technical products.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle, selling to academic institutions specifically in the France region.
  • Become an expert in BioRender’s features, benefits, and use cases.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed all revenue and booking targets for your assigned territory or category.
  • Organize, classify, and prioritize leads in the CRM—measure lead conversion and performance against quotas.
  • Develop and execute strategic expansion plans for accounts within your assigned territory.
  • Provide feedback on regional trends, customer needs, and market opportunities, ensuring our offerings are tailored to the France region.
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) on the academic and research landscape in France, staying informed on the unique challenges and opportunities within the region.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and other internal teams to continuously improve success factors.
