Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of relevant sales experience, with proven success in a customer-facing role proposing enterprise solutions. Demonstrated selling ability to State and Local Governments and Educational Institutions is required. A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary. Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel), and other CRM tools is expected. The role requires comfort working with multiple decision-makers, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to travel as needed. Self-motivation, a self-starter attitude, and comfort working remotely and autonomously are essential. Proven experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients is also required.

Responsibilities

Account Executives will develop and manage a sales pipeline to move strategic transactions through the sales process and generate revenue by selling the Cohesity solution. They will work closely with channel partners, penetrate accounts, reach decision-makers, and close business. Responsibilities include defining and implementing sales plans for assigned territories to meet and exceed quota, developing and presenting proposals that showcase the Cohesity solution's value, and driving account strategies. This involves coordinating team selling efforts with partners to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
