Description: The Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within Germany. Individuals who excel in this role demonstrate the ability to prospect (via email, phone, & partner ecosystem), develop, and close business in a timely manner, with a strong focus on client requirements. Account Executives must possess the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements with clients, and support new customers through our onboarding process. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to high-visibility, high-impact projects during an exciting period for the company. Snowflake is an innovative, high-growth, customer-focused company operating in a large and expanding market. We are seeking an energetic, self-managed professional with experience managing complex sales processes and possessing excellent presentation, listening, organization, and contact management skills.

Requirements

  • Education: BA/BS required
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of field sales experience preferred, with an emphasis on data or cloud-related technology.
    • 5+ years of experience focused on generating new business within Enterprise accounts.
  • Skills:
    • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
    • Experience hitting quotas of $800k+ of ARR per year.
    • Experience averaging 8+ face-to-face meetings per week.
    • New business sales focus.
    • Track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
    • Experience in determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
    • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Develop a sales strategy for the allocated territory, including a target prospect list and a regional sales plan.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing plans that drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future IT roadmap to drive the Snowflake solution within the marketplace.
  • Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  • Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
  • Manage the sales process and drive opportunity closure.
  • Provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams.
