Requirements

7-8 years’ experience working with leading agencies
Experience working with clients in the energy industry sector
Experience working in the corporate sector
Strong knowledge and experience in putting together communication strategies, tactical planning, and being the client lead
Strong understanding of sector landscape - energy and industrials (not just on a local level)
Ability to foster strong relations with clients, ensuring work is complete, delivered on time, and earning their trust
Writing skills, including ability to offer juniors constructive feedback on content pieces
Ability to sell in concepts to clients and see them through to execution
Ability to develop accurate commercials and contribute to new business development

Responsibilities

Identifying potential leads and areas of growth within existing clients as well as broader opportunities from a prospecting perspective
Overseeing client programmes and driving integrated campaigns
Taking responsibility for a portfolio of accounts and managing teams, developing junior team members, and line management responsibilities
Directing media engagement strategy for clients and coaching teams to activate and deliver coverage, leading from the front
Informing clients of best practice, sharing recommendations, and protecting client interests and reputation
Managing relations with the client, identifying opportunities to further grow relations and unlock potential growth
Managing a team to ensure the day-to-day responsibilities are met
