Requirements

  • College degree required
  • Financial services or related sales/relationship/management experience of 3–5 years preferred
  • Licensure including at a minimum Series 6, 63, 26 (will consider qualified candidates to attain Series 26 within 4 months of hire)
  • Strong sales and customer relationship experience
  • Full understanding of retirement plan types and rules
  • Full adherence to FINRA/DOL/SEC regulatory standards (including delivery of service against those standards)
  • Dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience with every customer interaction
  • Ability to coach, build a team, and understand relationship between organizational strategy and business plan components
  • Strong work ethic, presentation skills, and leadership traits

Responsibilities

  • Train and lead a team of 12-15 registered representatives responsible for consolidating plan level assets with Voya
  • Manage team huddles, call and email reviews, 1x1 meetings with team, and performance reviews
  • Meet with new plan sponsors/advisors to discuss rollover-in process and partnerships
  • Drive training and new hire processes for new consolidation representatives
  • Ensure accountability for adherence to firm’s FINRA supervisory guidelines and procedures
  • Attain sales/consolidation production, activity, and customer satisfaction goals for the team and organization
  • Create a positive work environment with a commitment to coaching and employee development
  • Participate in the development and execution of business plans to meet organizational strategic initiatives
  • Manage, direct, and lead a consolidation sales/relationship/referral/service telephone team of up to 12-15 individuals to partner with field personnel to grow assets in Voya’s defined contribution business by assisting participants consolidate outside assets into plan
  • Build and maintain relationships with field partners and deliver a superior customer experience with a firm eye on compliance
  • Provide significant supervisory oversight (call monitoring, call quality, sales effectiveness, and documentation) as well as direct responsibility for consolidation sales goals in support of the Retirement business
