Requirements

Candidates must be fluent in Spanish, with Portuguese being an advantage. A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in financial services, ideally in a similar role, is required. A graduate degree with a minimum of a 2:1 from an accredited college or university is necessary, with a preference for Finance, Economics, or an engineering-related field with a quantitative/analytical background. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to articulate ideas clearly both verbally and in writing are essential. A passion for innovation and a motivation to provide best-in-class client service are also required.

Responsibilities

The Account Analyst will support PIMCO's client-servicing professionals to ensure the highest level of service. Responsibilities include preparing client reports on performance, trading activity, portfolio valuation, and risk metrics; analyzing economic trends and supporting external reporting requirements; delivering performance attribution analyses; utilizing tools like Excel, macros, query tools, and internet sites; supporting the Account Management team with market and portfolio data; analyzing portfolio data including qualitative and quantitative performance attribution; automating reporting requirements and streamlining the reporting process; and producing ad-hoc client and internal requests for information.
