Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting enterprise customers in AV engineering and implementation. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with members of multiple teams across different world regions is required, along with proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining AV hardware such as displays, microphones, speakers, and control systems. Experience with video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Teams, and Webex, including account administration and user support, is necessary. Knowledge of AV signal distribution methods and protocols including HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, and NDI, along with the ability to read and interpret AV system documentation, signal flow diagrams, and rack elevations, is also essential. Experience managing support cases with AV vendors and strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and end-user support are required. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Responsibilities

The AV Engineer will maintain and operate collaboration spaces, conference room technology, and video collaboration platforms, monitoring AV infrastructure and traffic to identify and document problem areas. They will recommend infrastructure and performance improvements, create and update AV knowledge-based documentation, and manage AV service vendors to ensure timely issue resolution and system maintenance. The role involves preparing plans and executing scheduled AV system maintenance, providing technical expertise and remote support for AV-related issues to the Service Desk and on-site teams, and reporting regularly on operational metrics and maintenance activities. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and resolving AV system issues, supporting the strategic roadmap for AV with operational insights, and providing subject matter expertise to functional project teams.
