Requirements

Experience in assembly
Six months to one year of production experience
U.S. person status (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee) per ITAR regulations

Responsibilities

Drive quality production through supervision of a team and established processes within the assembly team (working supervisor position)
Create, maintain, audit, and improve standard work for the team (Approx. 25%)
Develop 5Alive metrics that feed into corporate goals; communicate goals and progress via daily huddle to associates and working supervisor (Approx. 15%)
Train new employees, transfers, and perform cross training using Training Within Industry (TWI) methods (Approx. 10%)
Monitor and report all ECR’s (Engineering Change Requests) and serial number breaks and deviations (Approx. 5%)
Assist with line-level communication to Production Manager, supervisors, production employees, quality services, engineers, manufacturing engineers, customers, vendors, and suppliers as needed (Approx. 10%)
Ensure adherence to quality specifications and error-proof processes (Approx. 25%)
Develop corrective action plans for defects along with quality department staff (Approx. 10%)
Perform other duties of comparable complexity as business needs and strategies evolve
