Candidates must be pursuing an undergraduate degree, have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and be eligible to work full-time in Toronto between January 2027 and August 2027. Applicants must be enrolled in university during Fall 2026 and possess business proficiency in English; fluency in French is desired. A strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance is essential, along with excellent relationship-building, communication, time management, and multitasking skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required, and finance/capital markets coursework is recommended.
The Account Analyst will support the servicing of PIMCO’s institutional clients and Global Wealth management businesses by assisting investment professionals to ensure the highest level of client service. Responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and discussing economic and market trends, evaluating portfolio structures, and delivering attribution analyses to Account Managers and clients. The intern will gain experience across PIMCO Canada’s business, working with both the institutional client servicing group and the global wealth management internal sales team.
