Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Must be able to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2027 – August 2027
  • Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2026 semester (August 2026 – December 2026)
  • Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Business proficient in English
  • Strong interest in financial markets, macroeconomics, and investment finance
  • Ability to articulate ideas/strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Outstanding relationship building skills and ability to develop client relationships into strategic partnerships
  • Self-starter able to work in a demanding and highly focused environment
  • Traits: ethical, collaborative, organized, flexible, high energy, self-starter, accountable, humble
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, organization, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Available for the full internship duration: Monday, June 8th – Friday, August 14th, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Support PIMCO’s investment professionals to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to clients
  • Gather, analyze, and discuss economic and market trends
  • Evaluate portfolio structures
  • Deliver attribution analyses to Account Managers and their clients
