Requirements

  • Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Public Relations, Communications, Political Science or related field
  • Ability to participate in a full-time internship between May-September
  • Desire to learn about government public policy development and implementation and a genuine passion for global public policy and politics
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and not afraid to network and get to know new people
  • Computer skills including word processing, researching, database creation, slide preparation, etc
  • Creative ideas for tackling projects and presenting information, including using a lot of AI tools to help in ideation and strategy
  • Demonstrated interest in government work and public policy at the federal, state or local level

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling content around Adobe’s public policy positions and advocacy efforts using Adobe’s tools and other office software programs
  • Set up and participate in advocacy preparation and public policy development meetings
  • Coordinate advocacy meetings and logistics with government offices in numerous global markets
  • Research new areas of public policy interest in tech, including Artificial Intelligence, open standards, consumer protection, antitrust and competition, copyright, encryption, etc
  • Successfully take on, track and complete projects from across the Legal and Government Relations group to help out where needed
  • Develop public policy development protocols, policies, and standard practices for internal use and training
  • Work as part of a larger team to expand Adobe’s presence in several markets in areas of importance to the company and our users
  • Track bills, legislation, regulations, executive orders and government directives and report out in an organized and prioritized manner
  • Use AI tools to broaden your abilities and the abilities of the larger team
