Responsibilities

  • Lead EnergyHub’s Regulatory Affairs team
  • Establish and execute North American regulatory and legislative engagement strategies
  • Prioritize highest-leverage advocacy opportunities and initiatives (e.g., grid modernization, demand-side management, transportation electrification, energy storage, rate cases, legislation, grant programs)
  • Interface with Utility Sales and Client Success teams to provide commercial support and intelligence on regulatory issues
  • Participate in integrated resource planning/VPP potential study/distribution system planning to promote demand-side resources and virtual power plants
  • Educate regulators and advocate for software/DERMS in demand flexibility programs and rates
  • Represent EnergyHub as thought leader in EV program design for managed charging
  • Harvest best practices from battery storage demand response for energy storage/load management programs
  • Track national/state regulatory trends and brief senior leadership/internal stakeholders for product roadmap planning
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to evaluate new business models/program ideas from policy initiatives
  • Research and gain expertise in regulatory topics accelerating grid-edge resources adoption
  • Foster relationships with trade associations and represent EnergyHub at conferences
  • Work with Product Marketing on thought leadership materials (e.g., blog posts, white papers); identify/onboard consultants
  • Engage with regulators, utility experts, stakeholders, staff, and trade organizations
  • Work with sales team to shape contracts/opportunities for new/expanded client relationships
  • Other duties as assigned
