Candidates must possess a minimum of 8-10 years of work experience with a focus on storage solutions, including domain knowledge of Enterprise & Data Centre hardware products, and preferably experience in Enterprise Storage products. A strong entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build relationships and make long-term connections. Consistent follow-up with customers, proposal and quote writing capabilities, and the ability to travel are required. An Engineering Degree is mandatory, along with either an MBA or M-Tech. Technical sales experience, particularly in hardware/software sales within a highly professional environment, is preferred.
The role involves promoting Western Digital's Enterprise Products to IT System Integrators & Value Added Resellers, developing strong business relationships with Enterprise & Data Center SI partners and premium channel partners in the West India Region. Responsibilities include achieving quarterly sales targets, developing and managing the sales pipeline, preparing and delivering sales presentations and quotes, and effectively explaining the value proposition of products and solutions to distributors, System Integrators, and customers. Understanding competitive product lines and selling against them is also a key responsibility.
