Requirements

The candidate should have 6-10 years of experience in channel sales, strategic partnerships, or business development, with at least 2 years of direct team management experience. Proven success working with large value-added resellers in the security or compliance space is required, along with a deep understanding of reseller sales cycles, incentive models, and co-sell motions. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort in a fast-moving, high-growth environment are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager, Channel Partnerships (VARs) will lead and grow a team of Strategic Channel Managers focused on revenue and pipeline generation through VARs. This role involves defining and executing the reseller strategy across North America and APAC, developing strong executive relationships with key VAR partners, and aligning cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Legal. The position also requires owning top-line team goals for partner-sourced revenue, pipeline generation, and partner activation, as well as providing coaching and support to team members while shaping the future of Vanta’s channel program.
