Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and hold an active Workday Certification – HCM Core. Additional certifications in Recruiting, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation, and Prism Analytics are preferred. Strong subject matter expertise in at least one Workday module and extensive Workday Implementation experience are required, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and identify and analyze areas of risk.
As a Workday HCM Principal Consultant, the role involves executing day-to-day activities of Workday HCM project support, providing subject matter expertise, and working directly with business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements and drive sign-off. The consultant will evaluate technical impacts, facilitate design workshops, design and deploy configurations, track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns to project management. Furthermore, the role entails mentoring other consultants, sharing product knowledge, and facilitating knowledge transfer to clients, all while maintaining strong consulting and presentation skills to effectively manage client expectations within a dynamic and growing ecosystem.
