Requirements

Candidates must have experience implementing enterprise management solutions such as Workday, PeopleSoft, or SAP. They should possess experience in requirements gathering, design, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions. Subject matter expertise in a respective functional area, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a passion for client service are essential. Proven experience managing multiple clients simultaneously, strong communication and presentation skills, and a commitment to staying current with Workday updates are required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are necessary. A current Workday certification in HCM Core is highly preferred, or prior Workday experience in HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Talent, or Learning is required. Minimal travel is required, but willingness to travel on-site if needed is necessary.

Responsibilities

The HCM Principal Consultant will guide clients through post-production Workday phases, ensuring seamless transitions and optimized use of Workday capabilities. They will collaborate with clients to understand needs, provide strategic guidance, and work with functional teams and vendors to configure and test solutions, ensuring no impact to production environments. The consultant will perform multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping clients, project teams, and managers informed of progress. They will develop deep expertise in Workday functional areas, mentor fellow consultants, and drive projects by recommending best practices. Responsibilities include executing day-to-day Workday project activities, supporting business development, and meeting utilization goals while contributing to internal initiatives.
