Requirements

Candidates should possess successful end-to-end medium to large ERP implementation experience in a consulting environment, particularly within the Workday space, and a strong background in Commercial industries. Previous Workday experience and certification, such as PM or Launch, are strongly preferred, along with knowledge of ERP systems, specifically HCM, Finance, and Payroll. PMP certification is a plus, and prior experience supporting Workday implementation projects is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Engagement Manager will act as the face of the project, leading Workday implementations from beginning to end with clients, communicating and addressing budget and resourcing constraints while prioritizing customer satisfaction and project success. They will become an expert in Cognizant’s Cynergy™ implementation methodology, manage multiple Workday product implementations, participate in the sales cycle, ensure proper project planning and staffing, track issues and risks, provide guidance and mentoring to consultants, present change orders, and assist in the transition to product support. Furthermore, they will present at Executive Steering Committee meetings, work with Workday’s Delivery Assurance, and ensure the client can serve as a reference upon completion of the implementation, identifying opportunities for additional service offerings.
