Requirements

Candidates must possess a current and unrestricted state medical license in Connecticut, with IMLC certification preferred, and have at least three years of post-residency work experience. They should be board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine and comfortable providing care to patients including pediatrics and behavioral health. Additionally, candidates should be tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and have prior telemedicine experience.

Responsibilities

The Weekend Primary Care Physician will deliver fully remote text and video-based, on-demand care encompassing acute care to patients, educate them on appropriate treatments and care plans, prescribe medication and refills as needed, and drive high-quality care with a focus on patient outcomes while working regular weekend day shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, plus one weekday).
