Candidates must have at least 2 years of backend or low-level WebRTC experience. Experience with Go, scalability, database management, Redis, SDK development, AWS, Python, Rust, message queues, and full-text search are considered bonus points. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
The WebRTC SFU Engineer will work on the core API of the video product, including the SFU and media pipeline for various protocols. This role involves improving the performance and building new features for the SFU server, enhancing the stability and feature-set of the edge infrastructure, and developing new features to support emerging audio/video technologies like AI, WHIP, and SRT.
