Candidates should possess 4-6 years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with a minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Required experience includes large-scale cloud production environment deployment and monitoring, working in 24x7 or 12x7 on-call rotations, and hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, OCI, Git, CI/CD, Terraform, and Grafana. Experience in Python/Bash and Linux is necessary, with knowledge of SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Alert Manager being beneficial. Familiarity with production security management, IAM, Secrets/TLS/SSL, and DDoS handling is also expected.
The Web DevOps Engineer will collaborate with Developers, Infrastructure Engineers, and Product teams to build and maintain resilient systems, focusing on automation, CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native operations. Responsibilities include deploying and managing services across multi-cloud environments, building and deploying Zoom UCaaS and CCaaS services, developing new automation to reduce manual effort, and serving as the on-call owner for assigned services. This involves managing production deployments and autoscaling/backup of Kubernetes-based and Dockerized workloads, implementing and managing infrastructure using Terraform, administering observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting, creating automation to improve operational efficiency, writing and maintaining scripts in Python and Bash, and participating in on-call shifts and incident management, including after-hours work for releases and deployments.
