Requirements

  • Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems including pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and chemical feed equipment
  • Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components such as control panels, motor starters, relays, sensors, and wiring
  • Knowledge of maintaining and calibrating instrumentation and automation systems
  • Ability to assist with installation and commissioning of new mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Capability to support emergency repairs and respond to equipment failures
  • Skills in maintaining and repairing piping systems, hydraulic components, and rotating equipment
  • Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
  • Ability to maintain accurate records in CMMS software
  • Collaboration skills with operators and team members
  • Ability to monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
  • Full-time availability Monday–Friday 6am-2:30pm, with flexibility for extended shifts, standby duty (evenings, weekends, holidays), and reliable attendance

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems including pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and chemical feed equipment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components such as control panels, motor starters, relays, sensors, and wiring associated with treatment plant operations
  • Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and automation systems used in water and wastewater processes
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of new mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Support emergency repairs and respond to equipment failures to minimize downtime
  • Maintain and repair piping systems, hydraulic components, and rotating equipment to ensure efficient plant operations
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and parts usage in the CMMS software
  • Collaborate with operators and other team members to support continuous plant operations and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements as needed
  • Assist with the maintenance of the inventory control program for the project
  • Perform housekeeping duties in the maintenance department and on maintenance vehicles
  • Perform all work in a safe and professional manner by following established safety, operating, and emergency response procedures
  • Perform all work to produce an end result which meets all goals and objectives
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
