Requirements

Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems including pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and chemical feed equipment
Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components such as control panels, motor starters, relays, sensors, and wiring
Knowledge of maintaining and calibrating instrumentation and automation systems
Ability to assist with installation and commissioning of new mechanical and electrical equipment
Capability to support emergency repairs and respond to equipment failures
Skills in maintaining and repairing piping systems, hydraulic components, and rotating equipment
Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
Ability to maintain accurate records in CMMS software
Collaboration skills with operators and team members
Ability to monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
Full-time availability Monday–Friday 6am-2:30pm, with flexibility for extended shifts, standby duty (evenings, weekends, holidays), and reliable attendance

Responsibilities

Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems including pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and chemical feed equipment
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components such as control panels, motor starters, relays, sensors, and wiring associated with treatment plant operations
Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and automation systems used in water and wastewater processes
Assist with installation and commissioning of new mechanical and electrical equipment
Support emergency repairs and respond to equipment failures to minimize downtime
Maintain and repair piping systems, hydraulic components, and rotating equipment to ensure efficient plant operations
Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and parts usage in the CMMS software
Collaborate with operators and other team members to support continuous plant operations and ensure regulatory compliance
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or replacements as needed
Assist with the maintenance of the inventory control program for the project
Perform housekeeping duties in the maintenance department and on maintenance vehicles
Perform all work in a safe and professional manner by following established safety, operating, and emergency response procedures
Perform all work to produce an end result which meets all goals and objectives
