Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows
  • Support RM and FG Managers by coordinating raw material handling and finished goods processes during the shift
  • Monitor and manage the flow of materials and products, ensuring that production schedules are met without interruptions
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Excel to track inventory movements and production progress
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are functioning correctly and report any issues to the maintenance team immediately
  • Assist in adjusting operational plans to accommodate changes in production needs or order volumes
  • Lead and supervise a team of production and warehouse staff during the shift, ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members, ensuring they understand and follow standard operating procedures
  • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary to maintain efficiency
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication among staff
  • Ensure that all raw materials and finished goods meet the required quality standards before they are used in production or shipped to customers
  • Enforce safety standards and policies, ensuring that all team members follow proper procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Conduct regular inspections of the production area to ensure compliance with health regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of safety checks, quality inspections, and any incidents that occur during the shift
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the production floor and RM/FG Managers during the shift
  • Communicate shift performance, issues, and any deviations from the production plan to the RM/FG Managers and other relevant stakeholders
