Requirements

  • Ability to work 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM), with days off and shifts varying based on site needs
  • Certification to use relevant warehouse equipment

Responsibilities

  • Apply glad hand lock and wheel chocks for any trailer to unload
  • Assist FSQA and receivers with breakdown of pallets for quality checks and transport to storage
  • Place received produce/packaged goods into correct storage, staged according to FIFO, in correct temperature location, and remove plastic from produce that needs to breathe
  • Notify leadership if any product is found out of correct location
  • Work on creating space for inbound loads and keep all storage pods free of debris
  • Set floor for decanting and shipping lines per drop list and boxing call out
  • Set all packaging material for box team, shipping lines, and decanting area
  • Bring out requested material to production prior to running out, according to production's count
  • Answer calls for any additional product needs for production
  • Move anything needed for production, warehouse, sanitation, or FSQA
  • Before any break, check with production team and visually ensure produce/packaging areas are fully stocked
  • Near end of shift, remove unused material from drop zone and return area, returning all product to home location
  • Ensure all pallets in storage are front faced, leveled, and plastic removed
  • Organize assigned storage areas
  • Check all trailers on shipping dock for trash or pine pallets and remove unneeded items
  • Put glad hand lock on trailer and chock wheels prior to loading
  • Load trucks with completed pallets using load diagram form (full load 26 pallets) with management approval
  • Once trailer is fully loaded, place FedEx seal on door, record serial number on load diagram, remove glad hand lock, and turn in paperwork to leadership
  • Support other warehouse functions, assist with any needed tasks using certified equipment, and help other departments to deliver finished goods to customers
