Springboard is seeking passionate Software Engineering mentors to support our online Software Engineering Career Track Bootcamp. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of aspiring software engineers while leveraging your expertise. We are currently at capacity for Software Engineering Mentors but welcome applications to our waitlist. Successful applicants will be added to the waitlist and contacted when hiring resumes. We are particularly interested in mentors with strong front-end development skills to support upcoming partnerships with companies like Amazon and Walmart.

Requirements

  • Passionate about teaching coding and software engineering.
  • Proficiency in Software Engineering concepts and technologies.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to students.
  • Commitment to dedicate a few hours per week to mentoring.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly 30-minute check-ins with students to discuss questions, projects, and career advice.
  • Provide support and guidance to students outside of scheduled calls as needed.
  • Assist students in navigating the curriculum and completing project-based deliverables.
  • Contribute to a supportive and engaging learning environment.
