Requirements

Candidates must have a thorough understanding of vulnerability management programs and security operations, with at least 2 years of experience as a Technology Professional emphasizing security. A solid understanding of Windows, Linux, and Mac endpoints, experience with threat detection and response, endpoint protection solutions, data loss prevention concepts, incident response management, and SIEM is required. Moderate to strong knowledge of cloud computing environments, strong communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience are also necessary. Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

The Vulnerability Analyst will be responsible for the primary administration of the vulnerability management process and day-to-day SOC operations, utilizing tools like Rapid7 and Orca to identify, evaluate, and prioritize vulnerabilities. They will work with DevOps, DBA, and IT teams to manage vulnerabilities to remediation, monitor security alerts, perform investigations, and contribute to incident response. The role also involves establishing annual budgets and performance goals, ensuring infrastructure compliance with security requirements and best practices, and collaborating with technology vendors.
