The Vice President of Security requires VP-level experience in hiring, developing, and scaling high-performing security teams across global markets (EMEA, US, Canada), with a focus on building in-house security capabilities. Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maturing an enterprise-level risk management framework, including supporting policies, procedures, and standards is essential. Experience overseeing the development and execution of an incident identification and response program, ensuring preparedness for emerging threats, is also necessary. Furthermore, the role demands experience in compliance efforts to meet and maintain standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and SOC 2, alongside managing business continuity and recovery functions.
As the VP of Security, you will set the vision for Clio’s security program and align security initiatives with business goals, ensuring proactive security is at the core of our growth strategy. You will drive the adoption and implementation of technical, administrative, and detective security solutions to protect data, infrastructure, and customers, while overseeing the development and execution of an incident response program. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, finance, and compliance teams to integrate security throughout the organization’s processes and technologies, fostering a culture of security-first thinking, and represent Clio’s security stance to external stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to promote security awareness across the organization and oversee compliance efforts to maintain industry standards.
