Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in B2B SaaS software product management in complex environments where integrations play a key role in product delivery
  • Has successfully taken to market from concept to launch SaaS software products
  • Strong understanding of cloud architectures, platforms, services and product management lifecycles
  • Successful delivery working with onshore and offshore product and development teams
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple teams in a remote/hybrid environment and developing product leaders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Product management certification is a plus
  • Has successfully operated within a fast growth business
  • Experience of operating in a PE environment
  • Masters degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience or qualifications
  • Hospitality or hospitality technology experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product managers, product owners and business analysts both internal and outsourced to continuously improve performance, meet customer and business needs and deliver on the product investment
  • Work closely with technical counterparts and peers within the hospitality function and broader Planet technology organization to deliver as one team
  • Execute and build on existing strategic roadmap by defining and delivering features, capabilities and value propositions based on deep understanding of customers, competitors and market trends
  • Manage new additions to the roadmap including trade-offs between revenue generating implementations and broader product features
  • Work with relevant teams across the business (including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal etc.) to ensure products and features are ready to launch ensuring clean hand-offs with other functions and improve commercial capabilities (e.g. launch prep)
  • Steer the Go-To-Market process as the key stakeholder and coordinate the rest of the Product, Technical, Marketing and Commercial leadership teams to support the Cloud PMS GTM strategy
  • Support Sales teams as the Cloud PMS product champion to present Planet’s PMS product offerings and features in product forums, client and industry engagements
