Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Interpretation and Strategy: Interpret and translate complex mandates like the 21st Century Cures Act and its Information Blocking provisions into actionable product strategies. Ensure compliance while simultaneously identifying opportunities to leverage these regulations for a competitive advantage.
• National Health Information Exchange: Strategically position WellSky to participate within the evolving national framework of Qualified Health Information Networks (QHINs) under TEFCA. Forge critical relationships within the interoperability community and enhance data sharing capabilities to improve patient outcomes.
• Interoperability Standards and Guidance: Apply extensive knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7), understand the unique nuances of data exchange in post-acute care, and provide strategic guidance on interoperability investments.
• Value Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate the value proposition of interoperability solutions to both internal stakeholders and the diverse client base. Build confidence, articulate the strategic importance of the roadmap, and drive adoption.
• Innovation and Trend Anticipation: Anticipate industry trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and spearhead strategic initiatives that will keep WellSky at the forefront of interoperable solutions in the post-acute care market.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10-12 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 5-6 years of relevant management work experience.

Job Expectations

• Willingness to travel up to 30% based on business needs.
• Willingness to work additional or irregular hours as needed.
• Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information.
• Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
