Requirements

  • Ability to drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, instock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs
  • Knowledge of proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within Company guidelines and standards
  • Expertise in compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations, including analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, and overseeing reviews
  • Skills in providing supervision and development opportunities for Associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Proficiency in providing quality eyewear services: consulting/educating Members/Customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining Optical equipment
  • Ability to uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions
  • Capability to build high-performing teams, embrace differences, create a culture of belonging, work collaboratively, communicate effectively, attract/retain talent, and act with integrity, humility, and self-awareness

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, instock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs
  • Model, enforce, and provide direction/guidance to Associates on proper Customer/Member service approaches to resolve needs, complaints, and issues within Company guidelines
  • Oversee implementation of and participate in community outreach programs, encouraging Associates to serve as good community members
  • Ensure compliance with Company/legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing/monitoring asset protection/safety controls, overseeing safety/operational/quality reviews, developing action plans, providing direction on programs/initiatives, and directing Associates on confidentiality
