Candidates must possess excellent written communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a typing speed of at least 45 words per minute. They must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, within the Eastern Time Zone, and must attend a paid training class and pass a background check. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and strong problem-solving skills are also essential.
The Social Media Support Operator will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and store team members, responding to inquiries via SMS, chat, surveys, reviews, and social media platforms. Responsibilities include de-escalating customer issues, maintaining customer information in a case management system, tracking social media data for reporting, closing sales, processing payments, providing technical support for the website, and following up on outstanding items. The role also involves assisting customers with shipping and billing inquiries, resolving post-order questions, collaborating with other departments, and making outbound calls when necessary to resolve customer opportunities.
