Requirements

Candidates should have proven experience in luxury, e-commerce, or high-volume retail sales with a track record of exceeding targets, and a background in fine jewelry is strongly preferred; a GIA or other gemological certification is a major plus. They must also be technologically savvy, self-motivated, and highly organized, with excellent communication and writing skills, and reside in one of the specified areas (NY Tri State Area, Philadelphia, Miami, Newport Beach/Orange County, Denver, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, or Austin). Flexibility to work weekends and attend occasional in-person trainings, events, or VIP appointments at your local showroom is required.

Responsibilities

The Virtual Diamond Expert will serve as a trusted advisor, delivering personalized consultations via virtual appointments, guiding clients through diamond education, custom design, and product selection. They will act as a brand ambassador for VRAI, representing our values and commitment to sustainability while providing exceptional service during and after the sales journey. This role involves owning and managing a dynamic pipeline of leads—booking appointments, following up with clients, and driving toward conversion and retention. The expert will partner with showroom and virtual sales team members to support high-value clients, custom projects, and outreach strategies, and collaborate with marketing, product, and retail teams on showroom events, product launches, activations, and influencer experiences when locally based.
