Requirements

Candidates must have over 10 years of database development experience supporting application development teams and projects. Strong SQL and database skills are essential, along with practical experience writing scripts in Python or other object-oriented programming languages. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a self-motivated, proactive attitude are also required. Experience in the financial or investment sector and familiarity with ETL processes and tools are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Vice President, QA Engineer will partner with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand business processes and testing requirements. They will review proposed changes, provide feedback on test plans, and communicate testing progress and challenges to stakeholders. Responsibilities include collecting and reporting test results, monitoring and enforcing quality metrics, improving user documentation and testing processes, and collaborating with QA SDET engineers to expand the test automation framework. The role also involves developing, maintaining, and executing test cases against changes affecting back-end systems, as well as monitoring and supporting existing automated processes.
